Random Acts of Kindness. Sometimes, it’s just the little things that can make a person’s day – and remember - a smile is always free! Today, as we celebrate #randomactsofkindness day, the Behmke Innovation Group’s team would like to share some of our acts of kindness. Let’s begin with The Behmke family who have been paying it forward by paying for the car behind them at the local coffee shop drive through. Jimmy Wong has been volunteering as a mentor to high school, undergrads and law students! Unlike in previous years, Daniel Wong wasn’t able to participate in the 2020 Walk to Defeat ALS due to the pandemic, but he has been able to spend time with a friend diagnosed with terminal cancer. Alex Goodwin makes sure to donate food to both the local food bank and local pet food bank monthly and is a volunteer at the Standish Humane Society. Cindy DiCaro paints watercolor postcards and sends them to hospital patients to make their days a little brighter during tough times. Jennifer Heywood is busy making blankets for the local homeless shelter – much needed in the cold winters. The Western family raises money to purchase little items for children and families at the Boston Children’s NICU and Jon has run the Boston Marathon to fundraise for Family Reach!
