Election Day

In 1845, Congress passed a law mandating that the presidential Election Day would be held every four years on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in the month.  This year, many of us cast our ballots early, but we’ll all be watching the results as they roll in today, and for the next few days.  Democrat, Republican or Independent, exercising our right to vote is one thing we can all agree on! James H. Dean patented his version of a voting machine in January 1911 (US Pat. No. 982,775) making the voting process a bit easier for everyone.  #bigiplaw #patentfunfact #electionday2020 #vote
