National Letter Writing Day

When was the last time you sat down, pen in hand and wrote a personal letter?  Having trouble remembering?  Today as we celebrate #nationalletterwritingday, let’s take a minute to write a note to someone special in your life.  It doesn’t have to be long or filled with prose – like the wonderful love letters Robert Browning and Elizabeth Barrett wrote one another – just a personally written note.  Grab your favorite pen and a piece of paper and write away!  Do you favor fountain pens or gel pens?  LaForest Shattuck was awarded a patent for his Fountain Pen design in December 1890 (US Pat.
